Taca starts new flights from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado and Arequipa


Taca airlines reported that it started new interregional flights from the city of Cusco to Puerto Maldonado (Madre de Dios), with a daily flight, and to Arequipa, with three flights weekly.

Avianca Taca Sales Director for South America Nina Garrues said that with these flights the airline expects to meet the needs of their customers and strengthen its route network nationwide.

According to her, passengers from Cusco will be able to get to Puerto Maldonado with Taca airlines on a daily basis.

Garrues stated that by adding this city to Taca’s route network, not only will the number of business travelers increase but so will the arrival of domestic and foreign tourists.

Among the ecological attractions that Puerto Maldonado holds are the Manu National Park, Tambopata National Reserve, Bahuaja Sonen National Park, among others, Garrues stressed.
